今天Magic TV的官網宣佈新型號快將推出，並發佈了機背及電子節目表(EPG)的截圖。
讓我們好好猜猜：
．機背
１：機背連接端子（已寫明Dual Turner）
２：輸入：（新增！應該是錄影輸入！）
Input１／２》HDMI
Input３ 》３色線包S-Video
Input４ 》色差
Input５ 》３色線
３：輸出：（和其他型號無差別）

IR Out（作用未明？估計為遙控器訊號輸出給NOWTV和有線機頂盒？）

終於有HDMI錄影！ 等了很久了
新一代旗艦型號

簡直係新一代既錄影機
我希望 MTV 的新機除現有的功能外，擁有以下新的功能：
1. 可透過網絡預校錄影
2. 可以透過網絡直接將電視廣播的訊號流儲存在 NAS 內
3. 可以透過網絡直接存取 NAS 內的 video files
4. 新機透過各 video input 將所有 input 訊號 up scale 去到 1080i 甚至 1080p
5. 新機可以全面接駁所有收費電視，並且提供其 EPG 及 EPG 預錄功能
如果 MTV 有這樣一部的 STB，我會願意購買一部。
一直用緊 5000D 加 一部 HDD 錄影機，呢部新機可以幫我將兩件機整合，省位又方便，希望世界盃前可以出倒啦！
不過其他牌子新款雞蛋盒都加入 av input 功能，售價都係三千以下，雖然呢部多兩組 HDMI input、收費台 epg 同貌似達 TB 級 HDD，不過最好貼近市場價格啦。
如果有得trand-in 我部5000D,我都願意買一部!
最好同一型號會有有 hdd 跟同冇 hdd 跟既版本，因為我想自己配部 hdd 好過，費事錄錄下唔夠位，尤其係世界盃黎緊…
Hope it's ll use hi grade Sigma Designs chipset and with hi-end video processing chipset like those from Silicon Image, Gennum, etc.
如果有"可透過網絡預校錄影" 依樣真係好有用, 返左工司先發覺唔記得set 錄影都仲有得設定返, 我即買!!

What a disappointment, I sent an e-mail to enquire about the launch date of this STB and they can only reply it will be launched within 2 months.
唉！雖然呢部有個極有用HDMI In，但遲遲未出倒，而且隔離台部SM908新firmware已可以做到用串流iPhone、電腦道睇機頂盒廣播或錄影節目，無疑已減低購買呢部機意欲…

yes, I like the SM908's feature of streaming tv program to iphone (preferably if also can support android..)

Just call customer service hotline. It will be available in early Aug...... Hope it is true.
The reason why I am using MTV-3000 and MTV-5000D is Sigma chipset. Otherwise, it is meaningless. I really hope that this new machine is not using other brandname hipset .. such as Realtech !

有無多媒體播放功能?這個功能對我好重要，如果有間屋就不用放咁多舊野。
Dear Pixel Magic,
I own 3000, 5000 and now 7000D.
Please note that your new firmware has adverse effect on 3000 and 5000 ----- the response is slower and the EDITING is with bugs. The bugs are (1) cannot go to the beginning of the edited video sometimes (2) the machine adds some video parts that you do not instruct the machine to do so at the end of the video. Very weird.
For 7000D, one more drawback in addition to the above two ----- easily hang up/freeze when you play the recorded TV program!!!!
Please fix the issues. The new firmware clearly created instability and has bugs!!!!
